Yoga came into my life when after finishing my degree in Psychology in 2006, I went to Rishikesh, India, to volunteer with orphaned children. It was probably the almost constant dissatisfaction in my life that led me there, as if those children were going to have the potion that could give meaning to my existence.
Immersed in the intensity of India, I realized that behind the identity that I had left in Madrid, I was nowhere to be found.
Since I was in the yoga capital of the world, I tried a few classes, and it caught my attention so much that I lengthened my trip to spend my last month at the Sivananda ashram in Kerala, studying Vedanta philosophy.
Later, I returned to Madrid, I studied Gestalt Therapy, I did a Master in Psychopharmacology and Addictions, and I moved to Barcelona in 2009, with the intention of going further with the practice of yoga, change of scene, and even profession.
And since then, I started practicing yoga with some regularity, and over the years I have been exploring various styles, from Swásthya Yoga, Ashtanga, Rocket, Vinyasa, etc ... as well as Yoga Nidra / with Uma & Nirlipta, and Ayurvedic Massage & Yoga / Kusum Modak Method. On one of my trips to Asia, I met Matthew Sweeney, with whom I have been practicing for the last few years, and who introduced me to his Vinyasa Krama sequences.
Right now, my base is Barcelona, where I teach workshops and yoga classes of different styles and Yoga nidra sessions, incorporating ancient wisdom into our western world in a useful and understandable way for all, fruit of everything that I have learned over the years about psychology, yoga, philosophy, travel, and my own experience.
